Stand Still In Time
This project involves capturing interior images of some abandoned Irish homes.
These houses and the people who lived in them have a very special place in my heart.
I photographed the interiors over the period 2010 to 2015 and I always felt, while being inside, that I was reconnecting with the people I once knew as a child.
Each detail had a meaning and these images give a glimpse into lives once lived and a time that is now gone.
For me the endeavour was about memories, or maybe more accurately, remembering.
Now all is being quietly grown over with shrubs, trees and ivy.
